We are tired of hearing this type of nonsense. The date that he said that a shipment was due was postponed several times and the ship did not arrive at all. This time, too, it is going to be a similar story. Until about four months ago, when was it that a minister of Energy had to announce the dates when ships carrying fuel were to arrive. Never. What a pathetic situation?
Aragalaya Sunday, 03 July 2022 02:06 PM
This is delaying tactic is nothing but a DELIBERATE ploy to stop protests etc. and break the MOMEMTUM building up. Otherwise there is no reason why this gap between 4th July and 22 July. Sri Lankans wake up do not get fooled by this 226 anymore. They only think of their survival and keep this status quo. THEY DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE THIS SYSTEM. THIS INCLUDES ALL CURRENT 226.
Aviator Sunday, 03 July 2022 08:03 PM
Totally agreed. No fuel will arrive. This is just another attempt to prevent the mass uprise on the 9th of July. I just hope our people will no longer get fooled by these cheap tactics and oust these 226 once and for all. This is what they think of us…as fools. So please let’s finish this for goodness sake without falling prey all over again.

It is better if you can advise us on the distribution plan once the ship is docked

Stop fooling people and stop spinning your sick jokes. The proof of the pudding is when there is enough fuel for everyone to go around and there are no more “polling”.

GHT Sunday, 03 July 2022 06:08 PM
When FUEL shipments arrive Sri Lanka, there will be no human beings remain to enjoy them, except the GRAVE YARD.
Quolp Sunday, 03 July 2022 06:11 PM
By the way, Mr. Minister, what else the Qatar ISS Charity said about helping Sri Lanka on FUEL CRISIS prevails here? Have you agreed to release the restriction on ISIS Charity-ban implemented earlier?
Bystander Sunday, 03 July 2022 06:44 PM
Thank you Minister for trying very hard during this tough time. Sadly Sir there are some who have not taken the trouble to understand or choose to ignore the actual detailed sequence of events that you very clearly explained recently that led to the current situation. There will always be those who sneer and see a conspiracy in everything around this issue. Please be reminded that there are also some who appreciate your sincere efforts.
