Sarath Fonseka’s short, clear statement also shows him here as a man who knows what he wants and knows what he doesn’t want! As is to be expected from him, he has clear ideas about what is politically necessary and will not make any “lazy” compromises of any kind in order to get into the highest office, i.e. the presidency! I am convinced that as impressive as his military record has been for Sri Lanka in the past, so much will his dedication and struggle for the country’s political “renovation” and purposeful betterment continue!!!
