Here are the top Peloton instructors for advanced and beginner, and my personal favorite Peloton classes to suit various moods!
We received the Peloton Bike back in September of 2020.
While I’m not in love with all instructors I do have a few preferred instructors for different levels of energy and moods! Here’s my top 10 list of most effective Peloton instructors based on their type.
I’m aware that instructors and classes are very personal. However, these are my thoughts regarding the best Peloton instructors to everyone!
The most effective Peloton instructors for beginner riders
Cody Rigsby (because he’s so enjoyable! ), Matt Wilpers (because the guy is all about forms as well as cues) as well as any one of these less impact rides (to help you get comfortable!)
The best instructor for those who are willing to have a laugh
Cody Rigsby is full of humor and humor and. I also like his music, as he sings a great deal of the best pop songs. My favorite rider for the day and I believe that he’s the most loved by many riders for this reason. He’s a great rider. XOXO riding sessions are among my absolute favorite!
Trainer for those times when you need to put in a intense exercise
Switch into an Alex Toussaint hip-hop workout. My favorite include his Club Bangers! The Beyonce ride that he performed with Tunde was fantastic.
Trainer for those times when you require an energy boost
Ally Love and Tunde Oyeneyin are great for moments when I need positive thoughts. Jess Sims is my favorite to strike a balance between positive thinking and working hard!
Instructor to help you get the most intense workout but with a touch of sincerity
Robin’s classes are one of my favorites whenever I need to face my own truth. She won’t let you go out of the way, and always pushes you to give the maximum effort. Robin is among the best of all Peloton instructors I believe! Music + motivation + exercise design in general.
The best Peloton instructor when you require an advanced ride
Take to take a Power Zone Ride with Matt, Dennis, or Ben. They’re serious about cycling!
A teacher for those times when you require an afternoon off
Go for a ride in the country! If you happen to see me at the country class You can bet that I’m just moving my legs but not putting on a lot of resistance even a bit. Ally takes country classes : )
If you’re looking to add something glitzy in your exercise
It’s the Jess King Experience as well as Kendall Toole are both usually dressed in glitter and are full of dance energy. It’s true that I don’t really like all of the “girly girls” instructors, but the two instructors I like!

The Most Effective Peloton Classes
I love bootcamp classes!
As I’ve mentioned before I’m forced to push myself to incorporate weights to my workouts. The bootcamp classes alternate back and between cycling and weights to make it all fit to one group. It’s a great opportunity to have a workout that is two in one! Jess Sims and Cody are my personal favorite instructors to teach bootcamps.
The 15 minute strength training sessions are also great.
They are a great addition to the 20 or 30 minute cycle. It’s amazing to me that I would do hours-long group workouts at the gym, because that was all I was provided (well in between, 45-60 minutes). Nowadays, I’d like my entire workout to last only one hour, which includes an instant shower! 30-minutes of aerobic exercise, 15 minutes of strength, plus an hour of stretching and a shower is the perfect combination. No more, no less!
However, if you are looking for the fastest workout you can get, Jess Sims Flash 15s are amazing!
I love adding these to my short-cycle workouts However, they’re made to be an all-in-one exercise in their own right. Part strength, part HIIT, they’re fast-paced and I’m a huge fan!

Theme Classes
I love any theme class! For me, the Lady Gaga Class was awesome. Outkast theme ride was fantastic. The Greatest Showman songalong. The classes for the holidays were amazing. I enjoy a good sing-along! In truth, I think they should have different themed lessons!
How to stack Peloton Workouts
I’m aware of how amazing it is to train with weights however, I don’t like doing it for an exercise in itself.
What I’ve discovered is that I love lifting weights as a complement to a sweaty warm-up. So, my most favorite combination of exercises is a 30 minute bike ride and an hour-long weight class. Also, sometimes a 5-10 min stretch at the top. I did this using Aaptiv as well. I’m happier with 20+15+10 for 45 minutes straight, however.
The way that the Peloton application asks to put on weights or add stretch to your rides makes it easy to add some more.
It is also possible to combine Peloton workouts prior to when you start to ensure that they flow smoothly from one to the next. I haven’t tried it so much since I like to pick and choose at the moment but the app is improving and getting better.
Does it worth the Peloton Bike worth it?
1,000% yes!
We weren’t huge cyclists prior the time we got the bike, so you may think that we’ve used it moreor less, or in the same way as we had thought. Although I don’t bike every day, I’ve utilized my Peloton cycling screen, as well as app on a regular basis for five days per week since the beginning of September. Thomas is using it for 3-4 days every week, so we’ve been extremely satisfied with the purchase.
In fact, I’ve been riding maybe a little too often!
It’s a surprise because, as I mentioned earlier, I wasn’t an avid cyclist prior to.
However, the best part is that cycling has low-impact. When I am faced with the option of doing something with intense, like running outdoors or doing a high-intensity HIIT exercise, I go for the bike ride. When I begin, gradually easing into a workout on the bike has an effect of snowballs. I start sitting, but finish standing, sweaty.
Workout at home
We picked up shades to use in our gym which is perfect for early morning runs even though it’s dark outside.
I was planning to do more workouts early in the day, however it’s difficult getting up, regardless of where you go! When my schedule is hectic or the children were at back from school it’s good to get an exercise in before sunrise and begin your day with a shower.
It’s great that, in contrast to in the gym Thomas and me both get in a workout in a very small period of time. It’s not a long drive to the gym or having a chat in the locker room , which is why we’re extremely efficient. It’s possible to believe that with our own workouts, you’d prefer to avoid it with no commitment to social life however it’s opposite. I don’t think I’ve ever had to pull off a quick and fast workout since it’s so simple.
I’m not sure what we’ll do after this epidemic is over and we’re able to return at the fitness center. Thomas claims he’s ready (for Sauna and the childcare) but I’m not convinced that it’s worth it, especially since the boys are getting older. We’ll see!
